The Aurora Hunt Premium tour is always customized by the guide to maximize your changes to see the Northern lights. Join our expert Aurora Hunter guides for a real Aurora Hunt. In 6 hours we have the change to go as far as the Russian Border area. The Russian border area is far from the city lights and often have clear skies, so it makes it a great place to spot the Auroras. There is also beautiful scenery with a lake and a picturesque bridge for those who are into photography.

WHat is the activity about? 

The Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis, is an amazing show put on by Mother Nature and only visible on the edges of the world. To catch the Auroras we need 3 things;

• Aurora KP (activity level) above 1

• Darkness (no light pollution)

• Open skies (no heavy cloud coverage or snowing)

WHat does the Aurora Hunt tour include?

Our Aurora Hunt is organized for small groups to assure the quality of the service for our guests. All our guides are professional "Aurora Hunters" and can answer all your questions about Auroras, Finland and the culture. The Hunt is always customized by the guide according to weather and the Aurora forecast, but it always includes the transportation, english speaking guide, warm drinks and some snacks.

Who is it for?

Anyone and everyone who would like to maximize their changes to enjoy and capture the Northern lights dancing on the night sky. This activity has no age or health restrictions and is suitable for the whole family. You can join the activity alone or with your group. 

HOW TO BE PREPARED?

• Make sure you bring your camera! Also a tripod might help you to get the best quality photos.

• Warm and comfortable clothing is recommended for the bus ride. Thermal clothing is not necessary, but if you have them, you a welcome to wear them.

• Warm winter jacket, beanie, gloves and winter boots are recommended to enjoy the Northern lights outdoors.
